This morning, two owlets are still in the box.  One sits in the hole almost constantly plotting the impending escape.

And... tonight after 10PM the remaining two owlets left the safety of their box and entered the real world.  The four owlets will still be dependent on the parents for about 30 days.  Then they have to make it on their own.

It was enjoyable to have a hand in giving them a easier start.

The webcam shows an empty box that looks lonely.  We are hopeful for another visit next year!

We had a Memorial Day dinner at the house and four owlets were in the box.  Today there are only two.  We have spotted one of the parent owls high in a cedar tree behind an to the right of the box.

Three eggs have hatched.  If the last egg does not hatch soon, it's a "dud".

Mother and Father Owl are both doing well and working hard to feed their new family.

Two cameras are on the box.  Live video inside and outside the box.
